Porsche introduces company's second SUV offering

MERRIAM, Kan., Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Porsche's second SUV offering, the 2015 Macan is a crossover based luxury SUV placed onto a slightly smaller platform than the Cayenne SUV offering. As it stands now, the 2015 Porsche Macan (here) will be available in choices of two very potent V-6 engines. The standard option will be a twin-turbo revving 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces 340 horsepower and can send its driver screaming down the road at top speeds over 150 mph. The 2015 Macan's other available engine is represented by an even more lively 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. Spinning the Macan's 19-inch wheels with 400 horsepower, drivers can expect even more of a thrill ride with the larger V-6 engine option. In the works are also four-cylinder turbo and turbo diesel Macans to be offered later on.
