Retired Romanian-American Businesswoman Mary Nemes Takes Major Step to Promote Family Togetherness

HOT SPRINGS, Ark., April 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With numbers surpassing more than 1 million, the Romanian-American community is steadily growing throughout much of the United States. But this article is not necessarily aimed to discuss Romanian demographics. Nevertheless, it is important to note and fair to say that Romanians tend to be family oriented with a strong religious faith. Mary Nemes considers herself part of this growing trend and has recently taken a bold step to help see family togetherness return to homes across America.

Enriching Journey is a Biblically based board game that imparts family values and principles to players of all ages. Not only is Enriching Journey a great learning tool for parents and their children, but it's also fun and entertaining for the entire family! Imagine yourself on a pilgrimage, a journey through the wilderness....From Egypt to the Celestial land of Canaan. Pastors, teachers and parents agree that Enriching Journey brings Biblical stories to life in a fun and exciting way that is truly and positively unique.

But it's important to remember that this experience didn't happen all at once. As a matter of fact, the vision for this game was birthed more than 40 years ago and more than half a world away! In the mid 1970's, the sting of communism could be felt in full force throughout the country of Romania and the small Romanian town of Chier was no exception. At this point in time, it would be more than a decade before the communistic regime would come to a full and complete end....But that didn't stop a young and inspired Mary from embarking on her own religious journey. With very little money, minimal resources and only a pencil and paper in her hand, Mary sketched out the blue-print for the Enriching Journey game for her family and friends to play.

Recently, while sitting in church one Sunday, Mary felt impressed by God to revive the vision of Enriching Journey and bring it into reality. Knowing that she could not do it on her own, she called on her son, Michael, who is the head of Harmon Entertainment to step up and take Enriching Journey to a whole new level! Harmon is committed to seeing Enriching Journey make a lasting impact on families from all walks of life. Initiatives will be implemented that will enable Harmon Entertainment to give back to churches and faith-based organizations that choose to use Enriching Journey for their ministries.
