Power-Save Energy Company Announces Launch of 2010 Local Advertisement Initiative and Door to Door Direct Marketing Campaign to Capitalize on Special Financing Opportunities in Various Counties in California

Jan 21, 2010, 09:30 ET from Power-Save Energy Company

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Power-Save Energy Company (OTC Bulletin Board: PWSV), an emerging leader in the renewable energy and energy savings products industry, announced today the launch of its local advertisement initiative and door to door direct marketing campaign. On the back of the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, Power-Save Energy Co. will be delivering this spring, a door to door campaign in Sonoma County California.  Power-Save will be distributing a specific door hanger advertisement announcing an aggressive $5.00 per watt priced renewable solar energy system installed on standard roofs. In Sonoma County residents enjoy the 30% Federal Tax credit as well as a Local Utility rebate of $1.10 per AC watt, thus reducing the total amount paid by the consumer.

Sonoma County, California is the first of nine counties in California offering this innovative financing program for residential and commercial improvements.  The other Counties (Placer, Butte, Solano, Medocino, Riverside, Siskiyou, Theama, and Santa Barbara) are all also set to roll out their own programs, in which they are offering to finance renewable energy improvements to homes or business through a voluntary assessment on the annual property tax.  These counties represent hundreds of thousands of households, thus representing a key market for Power-Save to grow its solar renewable energy business. These County programs will ultimately solve the consumer credit issue and drive tremendous solar energy growth in California.

Michael Forster, Power-Save Energy Company CEO also stated, "Sonoma County's Energy Independence Program is a new opportunity for property owners to finance renewable energy improvements to their home or business through a voluntary assessment. These assessments will be attached to the property, not the owner, and will be paid back through the property tax system over time, making the program not only energy efficient, but also affordable.  The Sonoma County's Energy Independence Program will allow up to 20 years to repay the assessment, and will be charging only 7% in annual interest.  This will allow many consumers to finance the entire up front cost of the renewable solar energy system at affordable rates.  While Power-Save has found consumer interest to be high, it has often been difficult the past 12 to 18 months for consumers to obtain financing for the up front cost of purchasing and installing solar renewable energy systems while waiting for the various Federal, State, and Local incentives to be realized. These new alternatives for consumer financing create an opportunity in which Power-Save believes that a focused campaign will greatly increase our revenue potential going forward.  Power-Save and its installation partner, California Power-Save, are offering complete systems, direct to the consumer, installed on a standard roof for $5.00 per DC watt!"
