PowerPlan Unveils Online User Community to Meet Demands of Growing Client Base

ATLANTA, May 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PowerPlan, the leading provider of asset accounting, tax and budgeting solutions for asset-centric businesses, unveiled Social Power Community, a new offering created specifically and exclusively to meet the unique needs of its expanding client roster of capital-intensive companies. Introduced at PLANET 2013, PowerPlan's 11th annual client conference held May 19-22 in Orlando, Social Power Community is an online forum that provides educational tools and facilitates networking within the PowerPlan ecosystem, expanding the opportunities for clients to maximize the value of their PowerPlan software system.

Development of Social Power Community was driven by client feedback gathered during PLANET 2012, where 76 percent of attendees, including industry leaders like Southern Company, Pacific Gas & Electric and CLECO, expressed a desire for a secure online forum to post questions, share experiences, and access user manuals, topical write-ups and industry best-practices.
