About the Speaker:
Dr. Gary Namie is a social psychologist and President of Work Doctor®, Inc. In 2007 and again in 2010, Dr. Namie wrote, and Zogby International conducted, scientific U.S. surveys on workplace bullying. Dr. Namie has extensive experience as an instructor and professor in college departments of management and psychology, including the University of Southern California and Scripps College. He has won national American Psychological Association and UCSB campus teaching awards. At Western Washington University, he developed and taught the first university course on bullying at work. Dr. Namie has served as a corporate manager for regional hospital systems in Hawaii, and in California has served as a Director of Organization Development responsible for all non-clinical professional development for physicians, nurses, and staff.
