NEW ORLEANS, June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Wonderful staff. Beautiful and convenient location. Top-notch facility. A gem in New Orleans.
Guests of Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette French Quarter Area Hotel have spoken, and the world's largest travel site has taken notice of these glowing reviews that make planning a trip to the New Orleans area easier.
TripAdvisor, with 350 million reviews covering more than 6.5 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions in 48 countries, has honored the luxury boutique hotel in New Orleans with a 2016 Certificate of Excellence award. The prestigious accolade, now in its sixth year, takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of guest opinions submitted over a 12-month period. To receive the award, the French Quarter hotel near Smoothie King Center and the New Orleans Zoo maintained an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, had a required number of reviews and was listed on the site for at least 12 months. Twenty-five percent of all winners this year are accommodations that range from one-room bed and breakfasts to 600-room hotels. The other 75 percent consist of local and national restaurants and popular attractions.
"Expect us to open the doors to a world of timeless elegance during your stay in the Big Easy," said Andy King, general manager of the Renaissance. "It is truly humbling that our guests appreciate the modern amenities that set our 1920's era hotel apart from other accommodations. Our team tirelessly works to ensure your well-appointed room or suite, artfully crafted neo-Creole cuisine from MiLa and large and small gatherings in our state-of-the-art meeting spaces not only meet but exceed expectations."
From value and location to rooms, cleanliness and service, the Downtown New Orleans hotel scored well among travelers. "The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the service is top notch," writes TripAdvisor contributor Melissa M. of Nashville, TN. "I have stayed in several hotels in New Orleans — but have now found my favorite and will be returning again!" Other guests called out the hotel's team for having "great insight into the area."
