The company currently has a dividend yield of 8.28%. The company has a payout ratio of 127%. The private equity firm last paid a dividend in February 2013. Apollo Investment Corp.'s shares edged higher yesterday as the broad market rallied. The stock rose to an intra-day high of $8.49 before finishing the day 0.96% higher at $8.43 on volume of 1.13 million. Despite Wednesday's gains, Apollo Investment's shares have fallen more than 3.50% in the last three sessions. Apollo Investment Corp. currently has a dividend yield of 9.49%, which is among the highest in the financial sector.
