Premier Supplement Brand Blackstone Labs Named to Inc. Magazine's Top 500 List
Magazine honors Top 500 fastest-growing companies of 2016
BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. Magazine today ranked Blackstone Labs on its annual Inc. 500, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America's independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino's Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500.
Blackstone President and CEO PJ Braun shares his excitement, stating: "I began reading Inc. Magazine when I first started Blackstone Labs just under four years ago. Originally, the magazine was a means of both education and entertainment. Being on their Inc. 500 list quickly turned into a personal goal that meant everything to me!"
Earlier this year, Braun told business partner Joseph Safina, "We are going to make the Inc. 500 list, and if you look at last year's numbers, we will make the top 50!"
When Braun discovered Blackstone was number 27 on the list, he couldn't help but be emotional to have met his goal, noting, "This is such a tremendous honor for myself and everyone else involved."
The average company on the list achieved an astonishing three-year growth of 490%. The Inc. 500's aggregate revenue is $205 billion, generating 647,000 jobs over the past three years.
