Prime Therapeutics celebrates 10-year anniversary in Irving, Texas

IRVING, Texas and ST. PAUL, Minn., April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime) celebrated its expansion from 100 employees to 800 employees in the 10 years it has been located in Irving, Texas. Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne joined Eric Elliott, president and CEO of Prime, to celebrate its 10-year anniversary and continued growth in Irving.  

In April 2004, Prime, a leading pharmacy benefits management company, opened its first home-delivery pharmacy operation, called PrimeMail^®, in the Irving facility.  The pharmacy employed 100 professionals and shipped more than 1 million prescriptions that year.  Today, the facility houses nearly 800 professionals to support pharmacy and customer service operations, shipping more than 4.7 million prescriptions and answering nearly 800,000 calls a year.
