Private Advisor Group Continues to Invest in Platform for Independent Advisors by Hiring Tenured Chief Compliance Officer
MORRISTOWN, N.J., Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Private Advisor Group, a hybrid RIA with over $17B in AUM supporting more than 600 independent advisors, announced today that Jim Hooks has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.

Mr. Hooks will be responsible for managing all compliance and oversight activities at Private Advisor Group, which includes continuing to build out their proprietary compliance technology. Jim was most recently a Senior Vice President of Compliance, Legal and Risk at LPL Financial where he spent 14 years building out and managing the branch exam program. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Raymond James in a variety of compliance and supervisory roles.
