Proaxis Therapy to open clinic at downtown Greenville corporate location
"Aches and pains to get relief on Main Street"
GREENVILLE, S.C., July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Proaxis Therapy announces it will expand its Upstate operations and open a location at its new corporate headquarters at 103 N. Main Street, Greenville, SC this fall. The opening of the Proaxis Therapy clinic brings healthcare to a fast growing Main Street community.
Proaxis Therapy opened its Upstate operations in 2004 and has steadily spread its reach with 14 clinics encompassing the counties of Spartanburg, Greenville, Pickens, and Anderson. Its 15th location will be located at the lower level of its new corporate headquarters in the Piazza Bergamo square and front and center of a thriving downtown.
"As someone who works downtown, I know firsthand that any time I have to hop in the car and leave the downtown area for an appointment, it's a work day inconvenience," said Bob Leonard, a Physical Therapist and Vice President for Proaxis. "For folks living and working downtown, we soon hope to remedy that," added Leonard.
Proaxis will provide both orthopedic and sports therapy services at its downtown clinic. In conjunction with a soon to be announced fitness facility partner, Proaxis will also add new service lines aimed at keeping employees healthy. The new clinic will include space for exam and treatment rooms and will also include a treatment area which transitions into the new fitness facility also opening this fall.
