ProcessMaker SugarCRM Edition Shows Strong Customer Traction and is Now Available with New Features as a Native Sugar 7 Module
SAN FRANCISCO, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SUGARCON 2014 -- New York based Colosa, the developer of the ProcessMaker Open Source BPM and Workflow suite, announced today the release of a new version of its popular ProcessMaker SugarCRM Edition software. Last year at SugarCon Colosa announced the first version of the software. This year Colosa is releasing a new version of the software that is 100% native in Sugar 7, has major new features, and is getting significant traction from customers and partners in the Sugar ecosystem. Colosa is a Silver sponsor at SugarCRM's 8th annual SugarCon event, a customer and developer's conference which is being held April 28-May 1, 2014 at The Hilton Hotel in San Francisco.
Since its launch at the end of 2013, the ProcessMaker Sugar module is seeing significant new customer traction from users looking for powerful process and workflow functionality inside Sugar. One such customer is Portland Brown, a fast growing Corporate Housing provider with over 400 properties in London and with 50+ users on Sugar Professional Edition. "Thanks to ProcessMaker's SugarCRM Module we are now able to perform our Property Sign-Off Process 10x faster than before," explained Sean Harris, the Head of Digital for Portland Brown, "and the process is so much easier to track and manage than before."
Another customer enjoying improved efficiency thanks to ProcessMaker is WaveComm Corporation, a Latin America based company specialized in delivering wireless communication solutions for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing network operations for public utilities, energy companies, and industrial clients with a significant investment in mobile or remote assets. "Our implementation of ProcessMaker SugarCRM Edition has helped us enormously by allowing us to process our installation requests much faster," explains Mario Gomez, CEO of WaveComm Corporation. "Now these requests are completely traceable, and we have been able to save a great deal of time and greatly increase our efficiency as compared to how we used to operate." Mr. Gomez estimates that WaveComm will save nearly $200,000 US Dollars per year thanks to the implementation of ProcessMaker in SugarCRM.
ProcessMaker SugarCRM Edition is a native sugar module that works in versions 6.5.14+ and version 7.2.0+ of SugarCRM. The module works in both CE and Paid editions of Sugar and in both on premise and hosted installations. The module contains a full BPMN 2.0 designer, workflow engine, and business rules editor, and allows companies to better manage their business processes in a dynamic visual editor with zero coding. In this latest version of the solution, ProcessMaker now supports custom modules, event gateways, business rules, and much more.
"Since the initial release of the solution at last SugarCon, we have been delighted with the customer and partner traction we are getting," explained Colosa CEO, Brian Reale. "We now have customers running our ProcessMaker solution all around the world, and these customers are seeing significant improvements in the way they manage their critical business process in SugarCRM."
