Production Ramps Up for Invention From New Cincinnati Company Draftrite LLC
CINCINNATI, Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Production ramps up for the Draft Simulator, an invention from new Cincinnati company Draftrite LLC, as it becomes readily available to meet the ever-increasing demands in the HVAC industry, company officials say. According to Draftrite co-owner and inventor Richard McFarland, the Draft Simulator, a hand-held tool used for diagnosing and calibrating pressure switches, started major assembly on October 26 at the Cincinnati Association for the Blind.
"Draftrite is looking to be completely global within the next three years with the Draft Simulator," says Richard, who, with co-owner Gene Warren, is responsible for the invention. One of the company's YouTube videos has already listed over 20,000 views with most of the views coming in the past four months.
The tool started to garner national attention as Draftrite presented the Draft Simulator earlier this year to National Comfort Institute (NCI), a Cleveland-based HVAC training company renowned for their leadership in airflow and combustion. NCI incorporated the tool into their training program, which is attended by HVAC service technicians from around the United States and Canada. "This tool is phenomenal. As the only way to safely test a pressure switch, no service tech should be without it," states Jim Davis, an educator at NCI.
Also fanning the flames of fortune is the exclusive three-year distribution deal Draftrite negotiated with B.A. Robinson, one of Canada's largest HVAC distributors based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. "We (B.A. Robinson) are aggressively expanding our presence in Western Canada and are looking for any potential advantage we can achieve over our competition," states B.A. Robinson HVAC products manager Greg Riddell.
B.A. Robinson, who placed their first order on October 31, is considered one of Canada's fifty best managed companies, according to the company's website. "We (Draftrite) feel confident in B.A. Robinson's stellar reputation and believe our new relationship will be mutually profitable," says Bobby Bell, Company Coordinator for Draftrite.
