EXPERT ALERTS:
Disputes, Pros and Cons Discussions About TPP Trade Agreement
Cary Peterson
Lobby Solicitor
Robert Peterson & Fields Associates P.C.
"Almost every part of foreign relations has its pros and cons. Name one foreign trade agreement that wasn't bitter sweet. TPP being another example. Whereas, an amendment to the original agreement should be proposed because the way it sits now has left several American business owners unhappy more likely because TPP hasn't benefited them in the long run."
Peterson is active with foreign relations and diplomatic affairs in U.S. Pacific territories and associations. He is founder of first super PAC supporting bill proposition efforts to elect Guam or Mariana Islands as the 51st U.S. state. He is also a registered lobby solicitor for multiple U.S. congressional coalitions that support law enforcement and public safety. Peterson is fluent in Spanish. He is located in New York City.

Assisted Suicide: What a Bioethicist/Neuroscientist Says
Andrew H. Peterson
Institute for Philosophy and Policy
George Mason University
"Ethical analyses of physician-assisted suicide often begin and end with claims about the intrinsic value of human life. But, if the practice were legalized, this is only the beginning of the ethical story. Several difficult problems follow: To whom should the practice be made available? And what safeguards should be put in place to protect vulnerable patients? Many of the most interesting and provocative ethical problems regarding physician-assisted suicide turn on whether a patient is ever of the right mindset to make such a request. This is particularly important if the state considers allowing minors and individuals with psychiatric conditions to participate."
Peterson studies the intersection of science and philosophy, with a concentration on ethical treatment of those with disorders of consciousness.

- 6 STEPS TO STRENGTHENING YOUR PERSONAL BRAND ONLINE. Whether we like it or not, we all have a personal brand on the social web. The question is: Are we cultivating that brand or are we letting it be defined on our behalf? In a perfect world, our online brand would be an exact reinforcement of our real-world reputation. But with so many social networks out there for us to live on -- and so many sophisticated tools to hone those spaces -- it's a far more arduous process to synchronize these two versions of ourselves: http://bit.ly/2dJTfNR
