Prolexic Announces New CEO Scott Hammack

HOLLYWOOD, Fla., April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Prolexic Technologies, the global leader in DDoS protection services, today announced that it had named Scott Hammack as its Chief Executive Officer.  As a well-respected and recognized visionary in Internet security, Hammack will bring more than two decades of security, networking, and management experience to Prolexic.  As a further show of support, Mr. Hammack also contributed $1.8 million to the last round of financing and will be joining Prolexic's Board of Directors.

Prior to Cyberguard, Mr. Hammack started MasterChart in the basement of his Illinois home in 1992.
