Prologic Technology Systems Awarded Finance & Student Information System Contract for Waco ISD

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Prologic Technology Systems, Inc. announced today the award of a 5 year agreement to deliver Finance & Student Information System technology to Waco Independent School District. The contract to upgrade to Prologic's TEAMS™ Finance and Student Information System was approved by the Board of Trustees during their regular business meeting last month.

The search to upgrade the districts technology began in last Fall with a 17-member steering committee collecting data and conducting focus groups to determine the functional requirements for the upgrade in both finance and student information technology. SunGard K-12, Tyler Technologies, Skyward, and Prologic Technology Systems were chosen for demonstration, according to the July 27th board minutes,  with Prologic Technology Systems achieving the highest score based on the committee's criteria for key components with the ability to meet the district's needs.

The tentative go-live dates will be January, 2014 for finance, human resources and payroll with the student information system following close behind in March of 2014.
