Prominent Entertainment Industry Executive Joins Cinergy As President And Chief Operating Officer
DALLAS, Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cinergy Entertainment Group Inc. announced today that Neil Hupfauer has been named Interim President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hupfauer has been a consultant since 2009. In his new role, Mr. Hupfauer will assist in opening Cinergy's newest cinema-bowling-entertainment concept as well as executing new programs to increase operational efficiency.

Mr. Hupfauer has an extensive business background in the bowling, restaurant, and family entertainment industry spanning more than 45 years. Mr. Hupfauer co-founded Main Event Entertainment, the very successful multi-venue bowling-anchored family entertainment business, in 1998. From 1998 until 2006, Mr. Hupfauer served as President and Chief Operating Officer, successfully growing the company to six locations in Texas. Prior to co-founding Main Event Entertainment, Mr. Hupfauer developed and was Managing General Partner of Fun Fest, one of the first family entertainment centers in the nation. Before his conception of Fun Fest, from 1987 until 1995, Mr. Hupfauer served as General Manager and co-owner of nine bowling centers in Texas. Mr. Hupfauer developed, operated and sold three restaurant concepts between 1979 and 1993. Prior to 1979, he worked for Ralston Purina/Foodmaker for 14 years where he held numerous key management positions.
