Proper Power & Energy Purchases List of Owners for Acreage and Mineral Rights Surrounding Tooele Claim
TAMPA, Fla., May 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Proper Power & Energy, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PPWE) announced today the Company has engaged H. Gordon Beamguard of HGB Land Services Company, Inc. to research and provide the names and information of the current holders of land and mineral rights for a total of 100,000 acres of land in the areas surrounding the Company's Tooele County claim. The area, located approximately 50 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah will be used to complement the current claim.
The Company plans to continue negotiations with rights holders to obtain 12-18 month "free-look" options, wherein the Company pays for the right to have its geologists and geophysicists to conduct field studies to determine the existence and depths of potential oil and gas reserves under the ground. Should these studies result in promising potential finds, the Company will negotiate with the holders to execute industry leases for drilling and excavation.
The breakdown of the ownership of the targeted land is promising regarding any potential governmental or environmental impediments to drilling. Approximately 25% of the land is controlled by the State of Utah, 20% is controlled by the federal government, and 55% is privately held.
"This is an important step for Proper Power as the Company continues to execute its business plan to acquire, explore and develop potential oil and gas producing properties," stated Joe Abdo, President of Proper Power.
