Medical scribes are used to support physicians by streamlining documentation, increasing physician efficiency and improving patient satisfaction.
The scribe program was implemented this month at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System in Texarkana; Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in Harker Heights, TX; and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, TX. Scribes are also planned for the ED at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, TX and at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX.
