Provenance Vineyards Dedicates Memorial Flagpole to All Veterans

ST. HELENA, Calif., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Vietnam Veteran and celebrated Provenance Vineyards winemaker Tom Rinaldi and his team will celebrate Memorial Day in a very special way this Sunday, May 27.   Rinaldi and the Provenance staff have selected this day to dedicate the newly installed "Memorial Flagpole" – a tribute to all soldiers past and present who have served our country. The Travis Airforce Base Honor Guard with a bugler from the USAF Band of the Golden West, will officiate the ceremony and salute the installation of the new flag pole and inaugural raising of the flag.

The installation ceremony will begin at 11:45 as the flag is raised to half-staff to honor service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice. At noon, the flag will be raised to full staff as the inauguration completes. Following the ceremony, from noon until 3 p.m., Provenance Vineyards will host a free BBQ for all veterans, active military and their families on the winery's front lawn.  Complimentary wine tasting will be available to all military personnel in attendance, with proof of service. 

The general public is invited to participate and show their support for all our honored guests. The general admission fee is $30 per person for barbecue and wine tasting. Guests will enjoy the Memorial Day picnic as well as croquet, horse shoes and other lawn games and activities.
