PRSA-NCC Announces its 45th Annual Thoth Awards Gala

WASHINGTON, April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Public Relations Society of America's National Capital Chapter (PRSA-NCC) announces its call for entries for the 45^th Annual Thoth Awards. The Thoth Awards finalists who demonstrate the true value of public relations will be honored at the Thoth Awards Gala occurring on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Pavilion Room in The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. 

The Awards are named after Thoth (pronounced "tot"), an Egyptian god of wisdom who is credited as the inventor of communication and writing. In the spirit of Thoth, PRSA-NCC will honor the most outstanding public relations programs and components developed and produced in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Public relations achievements are recognized in 35 categories, including 16 program categories that celebrate the very best strategic communications campaigns and 19 component categories that highlight top accomplishments in public relations tactics.

The early deadline to submit entries at a discount is Friday, June 7 2013. The final deadline for entries is Friday, July 5, 2013. PRSA-NCC sponsors the local Thoth competition to recognize and reward outstanding achievements in public relations and to encourage continued excellence in the field.
