
Public Company Director Organization Offers Free Director Placement
BOSTON, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Corporate Directors Group (CDG) (www.corporatedirectorsgroup.com), offers free director board placement to both its membership and to public and private companies who are looking for qualified directors. They will effect an introduction between CDG members and the public and private companies who seek one or more board members. The CDG is a Boston based public company Director Education and Credentialing Organization with over 1100 director members nationwide. Membership is free to public company directors and C-Suite level executives.
Through its education subsidiary, The American College of Corporate Directors, CDG offers its members a series of education venues, many taught by professors from business schools like Harvard, Huizenga Business School and SUNY. Members accumulate Credit Hours to qualify for one of four levels of Professional Director Certification. Over 500 of the organization members are in the certification program. The first level of director certification requires a minimum of 30 hours of education while the most advanced, the Executive Masters Certification, requires 150 Credit Hours.
