Public School Students Can Win $1,000 For Their Education
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As high school students await college acceptance notifications, most parents are encouraging them to look for scholarship opportunities to help with the mounting cost of higher education.
Ten students will each earn $1,000 from the F3 Education Awards Foundation through short essay and photography contests. These high school student awards programs are now open and accepting entries through February 27, 2015.
Why Education Matters – Entries must address the title topic Why Education Matters in a 750-word essay. Five winners are selected by the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (CALSA). The contest is open to all California public high school seniors.
Diversity. Collaboration and Achievement – Entries must address these themes through photography. Five winners are selected by the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA). The contest is open to all California public high school juniors and seniors.
