Extroverted entrepreneurs are outgoing and sociable. For them, doing promotion and acting as their own PR department is simply a matter of learning the rules of the road, possibly getting some PR training, and then getting into action.

But for introverted entrepreneurs it's not so simple.

Despite the common misconception, not all introverts are shy. Introversion relates to how a person is drained of energy or recharges it. Being around and interacting with people for extended periods of time typically depletes introverts' emotional energy. They re-energize by spending time on their own.
