Purely Fashion, An Award-Winning Fashion App, Adds Designer Samantha Sleeper As Curatorial Director And Ryan M. Beshel As Digital Marketing Lead

Samantha Sleeper, a New York-based fashion designer, entrepreneur and teacher, has joined Purely as Curatorial Director along with Ryan M. Beshel, a Chicago-based style and communications expert, who will help lead marketing, public relations and social media efforts as Purely's Digital Marketing Lead.

Recognized as "New and Noteworthy" by Apple, Purely offers user engagement with fashion designers from around the globe. Founded by Chicago entrepreneur Jeremiah Green and launched in May 2013, the app presents full season runway and lookbook images from fresh talent and established fashion powerhouses in both US and emerging markets.

Users can stream looks from designers, view their latest collections and become increasingly familiar with them from the convenience of their iPhones.  In addition, users can comment on their favorite looks, create their own personal lookbooks and share their favorites on social networks with just a simple click.

The internally curated feed showcases designer collections in the exact manner they want to be discovered, either through lookbook or runway images, in which the designer has controlled every element of the visual presentation. 

Sleeper will bring to the table an expertise in luxury fashion, developed over the course of her career since graduating from Parson's, where she is now an instructor, and as creative director for her own eponymous clothing line.

"It's hard for people to make informed decisions about fashion when they don't know enough about the designers that they're buying," said Sleeper, who has built an impressive resume that includes dressing celebrities like Tina Fey, Heidi Klum and Rihanna. Working alongside Sleeper, Beshel will contribute his skills in fashion marketing and management, including his most recent experience as the very first in-house Public Relations Coordinator for Chicago's iconic 900 North Michigan Shops and, formally, as the first Director of Runway for Agency Galatea.

Beshel will help lead content marketing, public relations and social media efforts for Purely, skills that he honed as a podcast host, former fashion blogger and frequent style segment guest on Chicago's ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates.
