The school district project will generate over 1,600 megawatt hours of electricity per year, beginning in the 2010 fall term.  The environmentally friendly trackers will maximize the solar energy collected, allowing the school district to save money on panels.  The rolling topography of the site, along the banks of a seasonal streambed, looks virtually untouched with native grasses still intact, and the pier anchor caps are barely visible.  The tracker structures are assembled on site and lifted onto the foundation caps, secured by bolts.  PV Trackers' dual-axis tracker is the only tracker on the market that requires no concrete, welding or sheet metal screws.
