Pyramid eXpeditor is a variety of tools, best practices and solutions that enable organizations the ability to process and maintain unstructured and structured content in a case or content-centric manner. Enabling a customer oriented approach resulting in enhanced customer experiences.
The latest upgrade makes it possible for organizations with IBM CM8 or IBM CMIS repositories to leverage Pyramid eXpeditor's Split and Merge functionality, by reading and writing documents stored in any of these repositories. Users with IBM CM8, IBM P8 or IBM CMIS can pull content from existing systems, split a document into two separate documents and also merge two or more documents together to create a single file.
The update also includes Pyramid eXpeditor's Context-Based Search tool to support IBM CMIS – enabled repositories. Organizations using IBM CMIS can perform faster and more accurate searches based on the properties of the document and folder.
Additional updates include:

- Ability to transfer bookmarks and tags to new documents
- Ability to update and add new versions of existing documents in the system
