"I am extremely proud to announce that 2011 was a record year for Sanbolic – across the board," said Momchil "Memo" Michailov, Co-Founder and CEO of Sanbolic. "We believe this is due to the fact that while there is an overabundance of products that claim to address the storage virtualization challenge, the truth is they really only address a very small, often proprietary piece of the puzzle. IT executives and the channel will no longer settle for anything less than a fully comprehensive approach that enables them to avoid the challenges a poorly implemented, monitored and managed storage virtualization architecture can introduce. That's where Sanbolic Melio software comes in. Melio enables its users to remove the rigid binding between applications and storage, for improved workload agility; provision storage resources to meet unpredictable applications requirements, for consistent performance; centrally manage storage resources, to reduce overheard and ensure quality of service (QoS); and provide shared access to application data, to ensure high availability (HA)." He continued, "Melio is the exactly right solution at exactly the right time."
"Sanbolic's success has understandably not gone unnoticed," Michailov continued. "It has provided us with the luxury of attracting and retaining many of the industry's most talented professionals – both on our full-time staff, as well as advisors to the company. Consequently, I am honored to announce that Sanbolic has appointed David Morrison to its Board of Directors (BOD). David brings with him an immeasurable wealth of expertise that will undoubtedly prove invaluable as we move into 2012."
"I am thrilled to join Sanbolic's BOD and look forward to the opportunity and challenge of working with the amazing team already in place in order to help drive Sanbolic's continued extraordinary growth and leadership in the distributed data management space," stated Morrison.
