Qnective Appoints Thomas Whayne as Chief Development Officer

ZURICH, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Qnective announced today that Thomas F. Whayne, former Managing Director of Rothschild, will join the company as Chief Development Officer. Whayne is a leading M&A specialist based in the US with more than 23 years of experience providing strategic advice to many of the world's largest technology, media and telecommunication companies. Before joining Rothschild in 2013, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Credit Suisse. Some of his recent transactions include advising on Alibaba Group's 25bn USD IPO, Intel's 1.5bn USD strategic investment in Spreadtrum Communications and RDA Microelectronics, Level 3 Communication's 5.7bn USD acquisition of tw telecom and DigitalGlobe's 1.3bn USD acquisition of GeoEye.
