SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico and DOWNINGTOWN, Pa., April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Qondado LLC, a provider of user verification products and services, announce a SAML IdP addition to the KodeKey user verification framework.
To meet the demand for a more secure and user friendly option for enterprise login, the company is pairing the strong first-factor login security of KodeKey with the SAML 2.0 protocol, considered a standard in enterprise user authentication. Qondado further seeks to become the default proxy between existing user directory systems such as LDAP and the emerging SAML enabled enterprise products from popular social networks and SaaS providers.
Qondado offers KodeKey IdP SAML 2.0 integration options for developers and organizations in two ways:
- Developers can integrate KodeKey login with the central KodeKey IdP server at kodekey.com
- Organizations can integrate KodeKey login with third party SAML service providers using a dedicated KodeKey IdP server from Amazon Web Services or a behind the firewall virtual server.
"The KodeKey IdP web service functions as a login proxy to our simple and secure KodeKey first-factor solution as well as a substitute for corporate login credentials that are both vulnerable and cumbersome," says Qondado CEO Mr. Edward Robles, "We are working to make enterprise login easier and more secure by creating a platform where a user's KodeKey enabled device is the hardware authentication token representing their corporate credentials. We provide a first-factor solution that leverages hardware users are intimately familiar with to provide the best possible login security"
