QTS Adds Steve Bloom as Chief People Officer

Bloom has more than 25 years of hands-on leadership experience in a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, consumer products, and financial services, having spent the majority of his career in world-class organizations like PepsiCo, Citibank and Medco. Most recently, Bloom served as SVP and Chief Human Resource Officer for ProBuild, a $5B distribution and building materials company with more than 11,000 employees.

Bloom has particular skills in organizational effectiveness, strategy development and talent management. He has partnered with fellow senior executives in large scale change management, mergers and acquisitions, and business process reengineering projects. For example, while at Medco Health Solutions, Bloom was part of the leadership team that established Medco as Fortune's "Most Admired Company for People Management" in 2008.

Prior to joining QTS, Bloom partnered with a professor at The Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame University. Their work focused on research and application of what enables employees to flourish in the workplace, find meaning in their work and enhance workers' overall well-being.

Bloom holds a Master of Business Administration from the Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology from the University of Kansas.
