QTS Announces Executive Leadership Changes

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly one year after acquiring Carpathia Hosting and significantly increasing its data center, cloud and managed service offerings, QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) is announcing executive leadership changes to support future company development. Peter Weber, former CEO of Carpathia and head of the integration efforts, has chosen to depart QTS to pursue outside interests.

"The primary goal for the integration of QTS and Carpathia was to strengthen QTS' ability to deliver the nation's only fully integrated technology platform, and Peter Weber played a key role in helping us achieve that goal," said Chad Williams, Chairman & CEO – QTS. In addition, QTS has strengthened its executive suite by appointing Jon Greaves to the new role of Chief Technology Officer, reporting directly to Williams. Greaves is a recognized technology services leader, having spent a significant part of his career in managed services, information security and operations. During his seven years at Carpathia, Greaves served many roles including Chief Scientist / Chief Information Security Officer and was a key driver to Carpathia's success. Prior to joining Carpathia, Greaves was a Distinguished Engineer and CTO of Sun Services' global engineering team.
