QTS Celebrates First Anniversary of Dallas-Fort Worth Mega Data Center
Success confirms QTS' decision to enter competitive Texas market
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), a leading provider of data center facilities and cloud services, commemorated the one-year anniversary of its Dallas-Fort Worth mega data center opening on October 15. The 700,000 sq. ft. data center – formerly a semiconductor manufacturing facility - achieved LEED Gold certification for its Phase I construction and has been recognized for its hardened, reinforced structure.
QTS Dallas-Fort Worth services nearly two dozen customers, utilizing the complete QTS 3C integrated services platform of custom data centers, colocation and cloud-enabled systems infrastructure. More than 54,000 sq. ft. of raised floor is currently commissioned, and QTS has the ability to rapidly deliver an additional 41,000 sq. ft. of raised floor space.
