ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Quality One Wireless, a global leader in wireless distribution, and Omate, a leader in telecom wearable software design, announced today a partnership whereby Quality One will bring Omate X companion smartwatch devices to market in North and Latin America.  The Omate X follows the successful launch of the TrueSmart, a first-of-a-kind standalone smartwatch 2.0.  Able to act as a companion to both Android and iOS smartphones, the Omate X is at the forefront of affordable, smart, wearable lifestyle products.

The Omate X companion smartwatch is able to push notifications such as incoming calls, social media updates, messages, reminders, and more to your wrist. Powerful enough to last up to a week in standby mode, it can be controlled by talking to it. The smartwatch includes a minimalistic design with a slim metal housing and users can customize the Omate X with standard size watch straps. The Omate X sports a MediaTek Aster – MT2502 – the smallest wearable system-on-chip (5.4x6.2x1.0mm) currently on the market.
