Quantum Receives Order for Back-of-Cab CNG System for use in Heavy Duty Refuse Truck Application

LAKE FOREST, Calif., June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: QTWW), a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration and vehicle system technologies, has received an order for delivery of its industry leading, light-weight 123 DGE Back-of-Cab (BOC) system for use in a heavy-duty refuse truck application.

Quantum's BOC systems are produced and assembled at Quantum's tank manufacturing and integration facility in Lake Forest, California. The refuse customer uses Peterbilt 355 trucks and the installation and service program will be managed through the Peterbilt dealership network.   The installation will also be supported by Quantum utilizing its dealer training and post-sales service program that was implemented this year.
