VAN NUYS, Calif., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Van Nuys-based Qubeey, Inc., innovators of an unparalleled browser-free technology platform that allows instant, assertive access to the Internet, announced today that it has inked a deal with Groupon, the daily deal website, to provide customized communications services to Groupon's more than 100 million subscribers worldwide.

"Our Qubeey business model is designed to maximize profit for clients like Groupon so we believe our strategic partnership will enhance bottom line performance for both companies. Additionally, we expect our assertive outreach to Groupon subscribers will increase Groupon visibility among followers exponentially," said Rocky Wright, Qubeey CEO and brainchild behind the technology.

Qubeey's assertive technology platform allows Groupon to communicate with its vast customer base in a unique and memorable way, which should result in boosting Groupon client profitability, he said.

According to Wright, assertive communications can best be described as synchronized, instant rich media notifications to followers on the desktop, tablet top and other devices without them having to visit a website or chase e-mails. Qubeey will soon be available on Apple and Android phones, set top boxes, gaming devices and televisions.

"Qubeey finds users wherever they are and speaks to them instantly, with interactive notifications and content from whatever providers they allow," said Wright.

The Groupon arrangement includes availability of a Groupon icon that delivers offers based on followers' IP addresses, allowing users to see local offers, offer details and link to URLs for purchase without them having to check e-mails or visit Groupon's website.

Also, Groupon will have its own Qubeey channel, a customized, off-web micro-site that will highlight Groupon deals daily. Qubeey channels allow owners to showcase products, services, videos and other content and provide real-time merchandising opportunities.   Most channels are free for Qubeey users.

According to Qubeey VP of Marketing Marc Brogdon, subscribers who follow Groupon on Qubeey receive an automatic convenience benefit – access to their favorite social media sites, without having to open a browser.

"You can access Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and many of the sites you frequent most, along with more than 50 additional features, all through our Qubeey interface, a blue Qube, which can be minimized to float in the corner of your desktop. The Qube allows access to everything you normally use to communicate with businesses, customers, friends and family. It's a win-win for everybody," said Brogdon.
