MINNEAPOLIS, March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Questar Assessment Inc., a K–12 assessment provider focused on providing a bridge between accountability and learning for states and school districts, will be offering a free webinar for educators and administrators on how to use the Degrees of Reading Power reading comprehension assessment in the fall to prepare teachers and students for the 2015 – 2016 school year. The 20-minute webinar will take place on Tuesday March 31st, 2015 at 1 p.m. CT.

Questar has administered the Degrees of Reading Power (DRP) literacy assessment for over 1,000 state and school district customers, and over 100,000 students. In the webinar, titled "Prepare Now for Success This Fall," Questar's DRP Product Manager, Evan Melick will discuss the best use of the test as a starting point for the fall semester. DRP test results at the beginning of the year will show teachers the reading abilities of individual students after summer break, and will help the teacher select textbooks at the appropriate reading level for his or her class.
