Quincy Jones, Yue-Sai Kan and Clifford S. Perlman Join Cambelle-Inland Board of Directors

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambelle-Inland today announced the appointment of three board members, including Grammy award winner Quincy Jones; Yue-Sai Kan, a Chinese American Emmy-winning television host, and producer and fashion industry icon; and Clifford "Cliff" S. Perlman, founder of the fast food franchise Lum's and legendary former CEO of the Caesars Palace casino in Las Vegas.
In addition to the three board appointments, Raj Maheshwari was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Cambelle-Inland.

Quincy Jones is a record producer, conductor, arranger, composer, television producer, whose career spans five decades with a record 79 Grammy Award nominations, 27 Grammys, including a Grammy Legend Award in 1991. He has worked with such artists as Michael Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Duke Ellington and Miles Davis, to name just a few. Mr. Jones joined Stephen Spielberg and Ang Lee as advisors on the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics. Quincy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. He was the first African American to win the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Academy Award (in 1995) and is a seven-time Academy Award nominee.
Yue-Sai Kan is a Chinese American Emmy-winning television host and producer, successful entrepreneur, fashion icon, bestselling author and humanitarian. People magazine named her "the most famous woman in China" and Time magazine proclaimed her "the Queen of the Middle Kingdom." In 1972, after her move to New York City she formed Yue-Sai Kan Productions and created her first major TV production, a weekly series called "Looking East". Based on this and other work Yue-Sai is credited as the first TV journalist to connect the East and West.
The television series, "One World", was produced and hosted by Yue-Sai and aired on China's national television network CCTV. The twice-per-week program, which exposed Chinese viewers to cultures around the world, was the first-ever television series hosted by a Chinese American on national Chinese TV with a weekly viewership of 300 million people. In 1992, Yue-Sai created her own cosmetics brand, which became China's leading Cosmetics Company. Yue-Sai has written 8 best-selling books in China, making her the first to dispense valuable tips about television production, beauty and etiquette to the modern Chinese. She is the first and only living American featured on a Chinese postage stamp, which was issued in 2002.
Clifford S. Perlman is the former President/CEO and owner of the Caesars Palace casino. In his 13 years as President and CEO of Caesars Palace, Perlman established himself as a gaming innovator. He oversaw the business's expansion from a hotel with 550 rooms and pre-tax revenues of $5.8 million to a conglomerate with 1,750 rooms and more than $82 million in pre-tax revenue. While in charge at Caesars Palace, it became known as one of the great entertainment and casino gaming hotels in the world. Mr. Perlman first introduced live sports and boxing to Las Vegas. With his brother Stuart, they also founded the international fast food franchise Lum's and bought, sold, and operated an airline.
