FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ben Quirk and Quirk Healthcare donated over 800 hours of customization work to the Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center's new Electronic Health Records system that launched on Monday, April 7, 2014. The customization work will allow the care management piece, essential to the services provided by CDTC, to be relevant with the new system.
"We are very fortunate to have found a company that goes above and beyond when it comes to helping an organization transform their practice. CEO, Ben Quirk, shares the passion and commitment that CDTC has for their clients with special needs. Through his generosity, over 800 hours of customization work have been donated to ensure that the work done to coordinate the care of the medically complex clients served at CDTC in their Patient Centered Primary Care clinic is captured," said Ana E. Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D., Executive Director, CDTC.
CDTC's Patient Centered Medical Home offers care coordination to children with complex medical conditions. Having the ability to customize the care management component will allow improved communication between the medical and social work teams. This will ensure the patients receive optimal care and the physicians are able to access necessary information related to the patients care at the touch of a button.
