Rachelle Arizmendi wins Sierra Madre City Council election
SIERRA MADRE, Calif., April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On April 22, 2014, Rachelle Arizmendi was sworn into the office of Sierra Madre Council Member after winning election on April 8, 2014.
Despite a California Filipino population of 1.5 million, Arizmendi is one of only a handful of Filipino-American women to hold elective office in California.
