Raffaella Giardino Joins Microbiologics, Inc. as Executive Director, International Sales
Giardino brings a history of strong leadership and over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry
SAINT CLOUD, Minn., June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Microbiologics, Inc. is pleased to announce that Raffaella Giardino, Ph.D., has joined its team as Executive Director, International Sales. Giardino will lead efforts to strengthen distributorship and expand the reach of Microbiologics internationally.

Prior to joining Microbiologics, Giardino was the Global Marketing & Strategy Executive Director, Culture Media and Blood Culture, at bioMérieux. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food Science and Technology, a doctorate in Microbiology from Università degli Studi di Milano, and earned her Executive MBA from EM Lyon Business School.
Giardino began her career as a scientist at the National Research Council (CNRS), Italy, where she collaborated with Cornell University. Giardino took on sales and marketing roles at FOSS, and served as the R&D and Operations Director for Food Diagnostics at the Defense Science and Technology Laboratory at the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense. She then began her tenure at bioMérieux where she held various marketing and executive roles.
