Beautecam is an iPhone/iPod touch app that determines your skin type and condition by attaching a special magnifier (sold separately) to your iPhone /iPod camera, and photographing your skin. Beautecam Ver. 3.0.1 saw an upgrade for the skin analysis tool, some of our features, and an updated design. Furthermore, this app will find other people who have the same skin type as yours when you connect it to Facebook and/or Twitter, making this a great social application. Our unique skin analysis tool identifies your skin type and based on that you can start a new connection, also known as the "Beautecam Skin Connection." Our goal is to introduce a fresh, new type of social media.
Basic Functions/ Main Features:
- Skin Check: Do a full-scale skin check (ex. skin texture, sun spot, aging spot, pores) by photographing your skin with the special magnifier. (If you don't have the special magnifier that is sold separately, you can still use this service by filling out a survey.)
- Beaute Records: You can archive your analysis results.
- Friends: You can browse Twitter/Facebook postings of others who have the same skin type as yours.
- Beaute Stream: Twitter/ Facebook postings can be viewed conveniently through the stream, and users can click the "Like" button or comment on postings.
- Beaute Circle: You can add people to your circles and subscribe to their streams.
- Message: You can exchange messages with individual users or friends.
- Weather: The application provides current weather information for various areas. Check the weather and protect your skin from UV rays.
