Randy Siegel Named President, Local Digital Strategy For Advance Publications
NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Randy Siegel, currently President of Parade Publications, will become President, Local Digital Strategy for Advance Publications. In this new role, Siegel will work with Advance Internet, the local digital arm of Advance Publications, and with individual Advance newspapers.
The appointment, which is effective February 1, was announced by Steve Newhouse, who runs digital strategy for Advance Publications, the parent company of Parade.
"We are optimistic about the opportunities to expand our digital footprint in our local markets based on the outstanding growth of our digital company, Advance Internet, and the increased involvement of our newspapers," Newhouse said. "We believe Randy is the perfect person to work with Advance Internet and our newspapers to leverage our online and print assets to develop new capabilities, expand our revenue base, and meet the ever-changing needs of consumers and advertisers."

Siegel joined Parade in 2001 after working at The Washington Post Company and running his family's publishing business in his hometown of Cleveland. He has written for newspapers around the country and his first children's book will be published this fall.
Parade Publications is the publisher of Parade magazine, which reaches 74 million readers every week in 510 newspapers.
