Ranir Receives MiBiz "M&A Deals & Dealmakers" Award For REMBRANDT® Acquisition

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ranir LLC, a leading global manufacturer of store brand and value branded oral care products, announced it received MiBiz's "M&A Deals & Dealmakers" Award in the category of deals valued under $25 million for the acquisition of the REMBRANDT® teeth whitening brand.

MiBiz's M&A Deals & Dealmakers Awards spotlight best practices and excellence related to mergers, acquisitions and deal-making throughout the West Michigan region and are judged by a group of executives, attorneys and advisors.

REMBRANDT is an established leader in teeth whitening products and through the acquisition, Ranir gained access to all of REMBRANDT's product technology through the integration of the REMBRANDT consumer product portfolio, including whitening toothpastes, whitening strips, whitening systems and mouth rinses. This served as an important strategic acquisition for Ranir as it provided opportunities for further expansion into the value-level segment of whitening, while offering a strong array of products at more affordable price points compared to the category leaders.
