Rat Rod Magazine Set To Launch New Blue-Collar Motorcycle Magazine

SHAKOPEE, Minn. and ST. LOUIS, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Minnesota based Rat Rod Magazine announces the launch of Raw Bike Magazine later this year. This new national newsstand title will be dedicated entirely to the blue-collar, home-built motorcycle enthusiast - something Raw Bike Magazine Editor Jerry Ripley says is missing from the shelves. "There's a void on the newsstand with most magazines in this category catering to high-buck bikes. We're going to give the working class a space of their own." Jerry and his wife Tracy previously owned and operated Ride Hard Magazine, a local St. Louis motorcycle publication.

Raw Bike will be headquartered in St. Louis, MO, and emulate the high-impact visual design and quality production that Rat Rod Magazine is known for. Raw Bike will be published by Rat Rod Magazine in Shakopee, MN and I5 Publishing in Irvine, CA.

While the national newsstand has seen several automotive titles fold this year, Rat Rod Magazine continues to grow; something Thaemert attributes to "being in touch with its market."
