RCP Hires Veteran Retirement Plan Management Expert

In her role at RCP, Ms. Steigerwalt is responsible for the operations of the Retirement Plan Management Services (RPMS) division as well as the current and long-term financial and Human Resources functions of the organization.

Previously, Ms. Steigerwalt leveraged her extensive knowledge of ERISA and DOL guidelines to develop and launch the retirement services division seven years ago while president of Keane Retirement Services (now RCP Solutions' RPMS division). The service line and the proprietary technology were the first available to help plan sponsors, third-party administrators, and record keepers meet ERISA and DOL compliance guidelines.

In addition, the technology aids in navigating challenges such as communicating with missing participants, managing terminated or abandoned plans, and implementing cost-reduction strategies for ongoing plans.

RCP recently introduced the second generation of tools, including enhanced certified mail capabilities, increased flexibility in customizing services client-by-client, and expanded reporting. Additional enhancements, specific to Treasury Management and more sophisticated matching routines are planned for 2012.

Previously, Ms. Steigerwalt was Chief Operating Officer leading the Unclaimed Property Services Division, Consulting Services, Retirement Services Division, SEC Search Compliance and Client Services and directed the Business Solutions Group leading Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology and the SEC Regulatory Compliance Division at Keane.  Prior to that she was vice president of Operations at Boucher Communications Inc. and held various human resources, personnel, benefits and accounting roles at Cardinal Business Media, Inc., Professional Press, Williard, Inc., and Burpee Seed Company.
