Protestants, Catholics, and Jews who fought for health care reform are celebrating the August 1 start of coverage for contraception and other women's health care. Lawsuits filed by Wheaton College and the Catholic bishops in no way represent the views of most people of faith, who overwhelmingly support and use contraception. However, although 99% of American women – and 98% of Catholic women - will use contraception at some point in their lives, many do not know what the Affordable Care Act covers. RCRC's faith-based Celebration and Education Campaign for Contraceptive Coverage is aimed at helping women and families understand who is eligible for benefits.
