Rdio's Global Momentum Continues, Launches in 20 New Countries in a Single Day

Rdio's global footprint now reaches people in 51 countries across six continents, making Rdio the second largest music subscription service in the world in terms of countries serviced.

At the start of 2013, only 30 percent of Rdio's monthly active users (MAUs) came from territories outside the United States. Today, that number has grown to over half of Rdio's users with 57 percent of MAUs coming from regions outside of the United States.

Countries receiving Rdio service for the first time today include: Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, South Africa, Uruguay, Venezuela.
