LOS ANGELES, April 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Now in its fourth year, the Reality TV Awards is the signature award show for reality television, attended by network and show executives, casting directors, stars from reality shows and media outlets. Last year, the awards generated over 1 million public votes and the awards themselves generated over 70 million social media impressions. The Reality TV Awards has proudly partnered with Bischoff Hervey Entertainment's upstart division BHE Digital to secure distribution and brand sponsorship.
Executive Producers/Company Co-Founders Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey are excited to bring the momentum built by RTVA creators Kristen Moss and Andrew Ward to a larger audience. The awards will be held on September 14th, 2016, at the Avalon-Hollywood, four days before the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, and celebrates the huge reach of unscripted television that is often overlooked by more traditional award shows. The Reality TV Awards embrace the fun of the genre, handing out awards to reality talent, in front of and behind the cameras, in categories ranging from Best Villain to Outstanding Editing, from Reality King & Queen to Most Creative Challenge.
The industry vote, which narrows down the network and production company submissions to the final nominees, will take place this spring. Anyone who works in the Reality TV industry can register for their industry ballot at www.WeWorkInRealityTV.com. The official nomination announcement party will take place in July, revealing the final nominees in each category. The public vote will begin once the nominations are revealed and the winner of each category will be announced at the live awards show in September.
