RealNetworks Begins Global Rollout of Unifi™, Its Award-Winning Personal Media Cloud Service

SEATTLE, June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RealNetworks, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK) today announced that it has begun the worldwide rollout of Unifi, its cross-platform media cloud service, starting in Germany. Vodafone Germany subscribers can now sign up for the service, making them the first customers to use Unifi to organize, access and enjoy their media across their different devices. Unifi will next be offered to North American customers, starting this fall.

Unifi is a personal media cloud service from RealNetworks that helps users catalog, access and enjoy their music, photos and videos, no matter what device, platform, music store or service they use. Unifi won the Best of CES award for the best software, services and application product at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year.

With Unifi, users can:

• Get a single, unified catalog of their digital media – all in one place – no matter where their photos, music or videos reside
• Securely store the media that is most important to them in the cloud
• Take a photo on their iPhone or Android phone and automatically save it to the cloud
• Share any photo in their library on Facebook
• Play their iTunes music collection on their Android phone
